In the text "The 'Banking' Concept of Education", Paulo Friere states "They must abandon the educational goal of deposit-making and replace it with the posing of the problems of human beings in their relations with the world". I think Friere is trying to say that we as people need to focus more on the problems of the world instead of trying to score the best on educational testing. I also think this quote is telling us that we would learn more with dealing with the real world opposing to always trying to learn from book work. The real experience is what counts. Freire is also saying that we a humans learn better doing instead of reading. In this particular quote from Friere, he did not use any repetations. He used several words that could have another meaning to it. The word "abandon" could have also been interpreted as leave or get rid of. Who is "They" in this quote? Is it the teachers, members on the education board, politicians or is he talking about the parents?
This quote relates to my experience because not only did I have to do these assignments that were from a book but I also had to do them out of class which involved time management as a vast factor. Time management could be a real worldly dilemma if you do not know how to manage it. For instance, If we had no concept of time management we would fail in a lot of everyday tasks. We would be out of a job because we couldn’t get to work on time, throw money away for our education due to too many tardeniest or absentee or even be jailed because we missed a court date. Without time management I would not have been able to do half of those assignments that were giving to us.
I agree with Friere because it is not about the book work it is about the actual experiences we endure upon ourselves. People learn more by doing. You could read a book all day long and when it is time to actually do it, you might have the instructions in your head but the hands on instructions a slightly different.

Good comments on time management. You seem to really know that topic. Be careful with punctuating quotes. We'll talk more about that for our last paper.
